Alan Brain
Songwriter/Musician

Alan Brain’s new music can best be described as 'pop for grown-ups' and has influences ranging from Jim Webb, the Blue Nile, Burt Bacharach, Al Green, Elvis Costello, Morrissey, Pet Shop Boys, Motown, Stax and, of course, the Beatles.

One Way Ticket to Happytown was produced and engineered by Peter Kilgour of Beat Productions in Chilliwack, BC.
(It’s no coincidence that Pete, then living
in England, produced the original demo that landed Interview the deal with Virgin.)
He also helped out on keyboards and
guitar and it really couldn’t have happened without him.

Alan plays guitar and sings – occasionally
at the same time – and is planning to take these new songs and attempt to play them live. Should be interesting.
